A Collection of Recipes by
Immanuel Lutheran Church
The cookbook is the dream and creation of the Fellowship Committee and Jennifer VerSnyder, our Parish Secretary. It includes recipes from a cross-section of our membership, as well as recipes from previous books, and past members. You will find recipes for appetizers, soups, vegetable and side dishes, main dishes, breads and rolls, and more. In 201 pages, and for only $12.00 and $5.00 S/H, you are bound to find something that will tickle your fancy or help you with a new idea for dinner. Several pages at the end will give you some interesting facts, tips, and important cooking information. Here is an easy recipe to do:
Baked Cherry Chicken--main dishes section
1 cut-up chicken or just breasts
1 pkg. Dry Onion Soup Mix
1 cup Frozen or Dried Cherries
Place chicken parts in glass 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with onion soup mix and cherries. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 75 minutes and then remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes. This is so tender and tasty!.
